By using DoulaConnect, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.

DoulaConnect is provided to medical schools and teaching hospitals running structured student doula programs, and to the students and admins who participate in those programs. You must be authorized by your institution to access the platform.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password private. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

DoulaConnect does not constitute a HIPAA-covered electronic health record. The platform stores no Protected Health Information. You may not enter real patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, contact information, insurance information, diagnoses, medications, procedures, or room numbers into any field on the platform. Patient records use system-generated aliases only. Violation is grounds for removal from the platform and may constitute a HIPAA violation.

You agree not to:

• Misuse the platform or interfere with its operation
• Attempt to access data outside your institution
• Reverse engineer the platform for competitive purposes
• Use the platform to harass, harm, or discriminate
• Violate applicable laws or your institution's policies

Student doulas using DoulaConnect serve as volunteers within their institution's program. The platform does not employ volunteers, schedule shifts on its own behalf, or take responsibility for clinical care. All clinical authority, training, and supervision rest with the participating institution.

DoulaConnect is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep it running and safe, but we make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of any institution-supplied content, or fitness for any particular clinical workflow.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoulaConnect, its contributors, and the non-profit operating it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of platform use.

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be posted here; continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
